Within the framework of its program "Safe and Sustainable Mobility", Andreani announced the incorporation of two 100% electric vehicles to its physical distribution fleet Renault Kangoo ZE, being the first logistics operator in the country to have this type of units.
"It is a transcendental first step to contribute to the environment, through a new way of distributing goods, without noise or emissions, which charges even more value when doing so in densely populated and traffic-congested regions", assured Gabriel Perez, Manager of Environmental Performance of the company.
Veronica Zampa, Sustainability Manager, added: “We consider safe and sustainable mobility as a fundamental pillar of our strategy. The inclusion of electric vehicles in our fleet adds to innovations and different technologies that we apply at each stage of our transportation process. Both in long and medium distances, in urban distribution and the last mile, we are incorporating solutions that allow us to achieve high standards in road safety and contribute significantly to reducing emissions ”.
The electric utility offers a range of 270 km NEDC (New European Driving Cycle, European standard for measuring consumption and autonomy), being 200 actual kilometers under normal conditions of use. They have a length of 4,28 m and 4,66 m, a cargo volume of 3,5 to 4,6 m3 and a 650 kg payload.
It has an electric motor of 60 CV and 226 Nm of torque, mated to a direct automatic transmission. It also integrates a 33 kWh lithium-ion battery and reaches a maximum speed of 130 km/h. They are charged through a 7 kWh “Wall-Box” (6 hours to complete) that Andreani is installing in its Avellaneda Logistics Operations Plant.
The incorporation of this class of vehicles by the leading logistics integrator in Argentina has to do with its commitment to optimizing resources throughout its logistics chain: storage, internal processing and physical distribution.
