The category of electric SUVs Extreme E, which will start its first tournament in 2021, confirmed the team's participation Andretti United Extreme E, which was born from the union of Andretti Autosport y United Autosports.
The team of the American Michael Andretti had already announced its participation in the specialty in April and is now taking new momentum through its association with the English structure led by Zak Brown y Richard Deans. The new team will be comprised of experienced members from both organizations.
Andretti Autosport focuses its operations on IndyCar and Formula E, in which it competes under the name BMW i Andretti Motorsport as a result of its agreement with the Bavarian firm. United Autosports is one of the UK's largest motorsport teams and competes globally in different prototype categories.
Alexander Agag, founder and CEO of Extreme E, assured that it is "A powerful collaboration of talent and experience in motorsport."

While Brown stressed: "We've been looking to get into electric racing for a while now and this new off-road championship looks fantastic so I'm glad we can work with Andretti to make it happen."
Andretti United Extreme E prepares to receive its ODYSSEY 21 with its sights set on the first round of testing scheduled for December.
