Citroën presented the new Citroën C3, a versatile hatch that will contribute to consolidate the presence of the brand in South America. The model is the first of a family of three vehicles intended for the international market, developed and manufactured in our region.
The New C3 is inspired by SUVs, something is noticeable with the naked eye by its clearance from the ground, its high hood and a high driving position. It offers the brand's characteristic comfort and one of the best interior spaces in the segment.
Produced in Brazil, at the Porto Real factory, the New C3 will serve the local market and will also be exported throughout South America. "It is presented as a modern and versatile car, ideal for young people looking for an authentic and original alternative and for families who use the vehicle in their daily lives, as well as for weekend trips", they affirm from the mark.
Inside the New C3, the horizontal panel immediately conveys a good sense of space. Well-being is enhanced by the seats and a comfortable ride. All this is possible thanks to its architecture, which has a long wheelbase, offering excellent habitability.
The 10 ″ touch screen, the largest in the segment, stands out on the instrument panel, making it easy to view and use. It has the Mirror Screen wireless function, which projects the applications displayed on the driver's smartphone.
Compatible with Apple Carplay y Android Auto, navigation through applications and multimedia content is done easily, either with a finger on the touch screen of the screen or through a voice command. Finally, the steering wheel controls offer true comfort in terms of ergonomics and safety.
The New C3, whose engine was not confirmed, will be launched in the first quarter of 2022 to strengthen Citroën's position in South America, specifically in Argentina and Brazil, two very important markets for the brand.
The B-Hatch segment represented last year the 30% of the total market in Brazil and 26% in Argentina, and the New C3 is positioned at the heart of this group "With its modern style, its connectivity and its experience of comfort on board."
It also represents part of a large movement by Citroën to strengthen its presence in Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, Among others.
