This is the new National Driver's License

The Ministry of Transportation of the Nation launched, through the National Road Safety Agency, a new national driver's license. It will be granted for a period of up to five years and has first-rate technology that raises security standards, minimizes issuance costs and allows the rapid reading of the license by traffic agents when carrying out controls.

The New National Driving License will allow driving in all the streets and roads of the Argentine territory, as well as in the more than 100 foreign countries that are subscribed to the 1949 Geneva Convention. the actions that form, in addition to drivers, responsible and prudent citizens that contribute to reducing the accident rate in the country.

Citizens who wish to obtain the National Driving License must attend a compulsory road safety education course at sites approved by the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV) and a theoretical knowledge test on education, citizen ethics, marking and legislation. Those interested in obtaining the rating must also pass a psychophysical examination that includes a proof of physical, visual, auditory and mental fitness.

This new license, which will coexist with the previous one until its expiration date, was obtained thanks to a public, open and transparent bidding process that allowed a document that was previously of foreign production to be produced in our country, at a lower cost operational.

-It was designed with reference to international standards.
-The expiration date is highlighted to facilitate the task of the transit agent.
-The texts are translated into English for use in other countries.
-Easy detection fluorescent ink and glossy ink of variable color are used.
-A smart system is used that adapts the number of characters to the size of the license.
-The description of classes and subclasses has been optimized.
