The complexity of the route, which translates into sandy soils, dunes and stony terrain, will make the skill of the drivers of UTVs, 4 × 4, motorcycles and quads play a fundamental role when trying to master each of the eight stages.

The choice of suitable equipment is another of the elementary decisions that drivers have; and the tires are a key factor in being able to successfully cope with the hostility of the terrain.
