Baptized as Fangio 100, the work was made by the plastic artist Carlos Regazzoni and was inaugurated on June 24, 2011 when the XNUMXth anniversary of the birth of El Chueco. There you see the Fivefold saluting victorious on an imposing Mercedes-Benz W196 made with plow discs and fitted with truck wheels.
"Fangio was a man who found freedom aboard a machine at a time when it was said that machines generated slavery," said Regazzoni, who also invited to take the figure of the pilot as an icon of the gestation of a nation .
