The team Red Bull de F1 announced the renewal of the Mexican pilot Sergio Pérez, who will remain linked to the Austrian structure next season.
With the continuity of Max Verstappen assured until the end of 2023, Red Bull has already confirmed its driver pair for the next world championship, when the category will experience a revolutionary change in regulations.
Pérez's continuity in the team had been questioned by Helmut Marko, a Red Bull advisor. However, the team led by Christian horner it renewed his confidence.
“We have been impressed by his performances during the first half of the season, which show what he is capable of in our car. Next year we enter a new era and, with more than 200 races and a decade of experience under his belt, Checo will play a key role in helping the team ”, Horner indicated.
"Everyone will start from scratch next year with the new regulations, so my only goal is to get to the top with Red Bull." Pérez stressed.
