The new SUV of the Italian brand will arrive from Brazil with two engine options, one of them turbo.

Initially known as Project 363, the new SUV of Fiat it already has an official name: Fiat pulse, a name that was arrived at after a vote open to the public in which more than 380 a thousand people from different countries.

Fiat pulseThrough an aggressive digital campaign, which included a web series, the brand made different naming options available to visitors. Pulse won the vote with 65% of the votes, relegating Domo (25%) and Tuo (10%).

According to the brand the chosen name "It expresses the essence and personality of the vehicle: an SUV with a Fiat soul with its own beat and rhythm."

In the design of the new Fiat Pulse, which will be manufactured in Brazil, Strada style headlights, tailgate and large spoiler, chrome eyebrow that crosses the upper part of the front, more rounded grille with three blades, side "air intakes" stand out. with LED spotlights, black protector that runs all the way around the perimeter (including lower mouth, fenders, skirting boards, and rear bumper), roof in another shade and roof bars.

Fiat pulseAs for the engine, the Pulse will debut the brand's new turbocharger: a 1.0 liter Firefly turbo with 120 hp and 196 Nm. Additionally, the base variant will be equipped with the 1.3L 99hp that they already use Argon, Cronos y Strada Volcano. The transmissions will be a six-speed automatic only for the turbo and as a novelty a CVT for the 1.3L.

The Fiat Pulse is expected to launch regionally between September and October this year.
