A cargo bike and an electric scooter, the new BMW Group proposals.

In its role as a premium provider of individual mobility, el BMW Group presented two new prototypes: the electrified bicycle Dynamic Cargo and the electric scooter Clever Commute.

The German consortium had previously presented a series of innovative micromobility solutions to the public, such as the BMW Motorrad X2City, Personal Move Concept and BMW Vision E * Way, the elevated highway prototype.

BMWThe Dynamic Cargo prototype is the first dynamic cargo bike pick-up combining driving pleasure with flexible use and increased year-round suitability.

"Our goal was to develop a prototype that would retain the agility and riding feel of a normal bicycle, while adding innovative and safe transportation options," said Jochen karg, Director of Vehicle Prototypes in the New Technologies and China division of the BMW Group.

With its Clever Commute concept car, the BMW Group now presents a scooter that folds easily for taking on public transport and / or by car without compromising driving stability in any way.

BMWThe German group has highlighted that with its characteristics, the Clever Commute “It is a versatile companion in the city and allows any trip to be completed quickly, safely and easily. Its capacity for transformation makes it a truly ideal solution for multimodal travel ”.

The BMW Group has confirmed that it will not manufacture the Dynamic Cargo prototype or the Clever Commute itself, although it has announced that it is already in talks with potential licensees for their production.
