The Spanish manufacturer Cupra, belonging to SEAT, has become the first car brand to join the electric category Extreme E through an agreement with the team ABT Sportsline.
The announcement was made within the framework of the launch of the Cupra Garage in Hamburg (Germany). During the event it was also announced that the German Mattias Ekström will be the official male driver of the team. Cupra and ABT Sportsline began collaborating in 2018 to produce more powerful and customized versions of the Leon Cupra and Cupra Ateca, with more than 350CV.
