The Cupra Tavascan is a concept that the Seat-owned brand will present at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Cupra advances towards its vision of the electrification of sports vehicles with the new Tavascan, for an 100% electric prototype that presents an autonomy of 450 kilometers (in WLTP cycle) and 306 horsepower.
The brand of Seat He indicated that this concept car has been designed to respond to the needs of the fully electric coupé SUV market, which is expected to grow 15% per year.
The Tavascan presents the illuminated signature logo at the front and rear, while the air inlets allow air to circulate fluidly over the bodywork or into the interior to cool the batteries and increase their efficiency.
On the sides, diffuser provides a functional aerodynamic factor and an enhanced high-performance feel, emphasized by a vehicle-wide taillight.
The interior includes leather seats with a sculptural 3D design, while the dashboard “floats” along the front creating a feeling of greater space. It also has a 12,3-inch digital instrument panel and a 13-inch infotainment screen.
The prototype has two engines (one integrated in the front axle and one in the rear) that transmit a combined power of 306 hp (225 kW) to all four wheels. Reach 100 km / h in less than 6,5 seconds and has 77 kWh lithium-ion batteries that allow it to travel up to 450 kilometers, according to the strict WLTP test cycle.
