How should children travel in a car to be safe?

On the other hand, it should be remembered that the child restraint has an expiration date, which varies depending on the manufacturer and can last from 6 to 10 years.

This is recommended as most collisions occur from the front and in this way allows the child's head, neck and spine to rest on the back of the seat. Once children are over 2 years old, they transition to forward-facing car seat with a 5-point harness. And when the child has the weight and height allowed, the lift with a backrest can be used.


The child restraint chair is always located in the back seat of the car and in the central part due to the distance from the sides in case of impacts. Its placement will be correct as long as you have a 2 or 3-point seat belt or an anchoring system.
