At the end of 2013 the brand Devel Motors presented at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show the Devel Sixteen, an amazing hypercar with figures that scared: a 16 hp V5.000 engine, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 1,8 seconds and a top speed of 560 km / h.
At the time it was thought that the Sixteen was more of a wish than a project that could come true, but in the 2017 edition of the Dubai show it was confirmed that the sports car will reach production and in different configurations.
The spicier version, exclusively to be used in circuits, will mount the V16, which is in full development phase. Prepared by Steve Morris EnginesIt cubes 12,3 liters and has four turbos (one for every four cylinders). According to the latest tests, the super drive produces 5.007 hp at 6.900 rpm and delivers 5.287 Nm of torque at 6.600 rpm.
The other two engines will be less radical, although they still promise fun for their drivers: a 8 hp V2.000 and a 8 hp V3.000, also approved for circuits. As for prices, the only thing that is known is that the least powerful Sixteen will be around 1.6 million.
Also, Devel announced an agreement with the Italian firm Manifattura Automobili Torino, which at the time was in charge of the Apollo Intensa Emozione, to help them build the car.
