Audi Q8 Concept debuts at Detroit Motor Show

Toyota Hilux

Audi will start the year with a sensation: at the Detroit International Auto Show in January 2017, the premium manufacturer will present the Audi Q8 concept.

This design study, which advances the lines of a production model, represents a synthesis between the emotional style of a coupe and the spaciousness and versatility that characterize an SUV. With this move, the brand opens a new segment in the category of large luxury SUVs.

The front of the concept car is impressive. The octagonal Singleframe grille with a three-dimensional design is considerably wider than on current Audi production models.

Many design elements of the Audi Q8 concept are reminiscent of the Audi Ur-quattro of the XNUMXs. They include the flat but very wide C-pillar and prominent wheel arches. Its balanced proportions lend equal emphasis to the front and rear, a typically quattro characteristic.
