Honda confirmed that the first orders for the production version of the Urban EV Concept can be done at the beginning of 2019, as announced at the press conference held on the occasion of the Geneva Motor Show 2018.
The Urban EV Concept anticipates what will be the first battery electric vehicle marketed by Honda in Europe.
On the outside, the concept stands out for its simple yet sophisticated design and excellent driver visibility thanks to the narrow A-pillars and a wide windshield that runs the entire front line of the cabin.
The Honda emblem on the Urban EV Concept is backlit in blue, a new distinctive feature for the company's future electric vehicles. In addition, it has the particularity of displaying multilingual interactive messages on the front such as greetings, advice for other drivers or updates on the battery charge status.
Inside it has capacity for four occupants, distributed in two bench-type seats, made of different materials to create a lounge feel that is accentuated by the front seats, upholstered with natural gray fabric and finished in wood.
The dashboard houses a main screen that extends to the sides of the doors, and in which a wide range of information is offered, while images from the cameras that replace traditional rear-view mirrors are projected on the sides.
