Those responsible for World Superbike, the company Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO), confirmed the holding of the 12th date of the 2021 contest on Argentine soil. The event, which will take place from October 15th to 17th, will have as stage the San Juan Villicum International Circuit.
El OSD Group, promoter of the competition, and the San Juan government confirmed that there will be a limited audience and that for this purpose a strict protocol will be established that will be reported shortly. Likewise, the extension of the agreement was announced for the SBK to visit San Juan again in 2022 y 2023.

While Orlando Newfoundland, CEO of Grupo OSD, stated: “The extension of the agreement as the completion of the San Juan round of this 2021 is the reflection of a joint work that we have achieved even in difficult situations. We thus guarantee the presence of the Superbike World Championship in order to also make the improvements that the Autodrome deserves and not miss a sporting event on the most important stage in South America ”.

The presentation next October will be the third of the SBK in Argentina after those of 2018 y 2019. The 2020 event had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
