It is not easy to fool the human eye, but when the work is so precise it is difficult to distinguish between a photograph and a painting. This can be seen with the hyper-realistic work of Tomás Cantón, a great motorcycling fan who has based his latest work on the snapshots of Jaime Olivares (Repsol photographer in the World Championship) to create a series of paintings that have the Spanish Marc Márquez as protagonist.

The collection, made up of 22 paintings, is called “The Most Pursued Title” and in it Cantón captured with pinpoint accuracy some of the moments that led Márquez to win his third MotoGP crown. Here are some examples.
