The 2021 championship of WTCR began with a very particular scenario: the northern variant of the German circuit of Nurburgring, The mythical Nordschleife. There was a River Plate presence there through the participation of Argentines Nestor Girolami y Stephen Guerrieri, with the Honda Civic Type R TCR of the Munich Motorsport; and the Uruguayan Santiago Urrutia, aboard a Lynk & Co 03 TCR of the CyanPerformance.
