Ferrari SF90 Stradale: The beast of 1.000 horses

It is the first plug-in hybrid from the house of Maranello and the first four-wheel drive vehicle.

In a mighty launch, Ferrari presented its latest super sports car. Its about Ferrari SF90 Stradale, which becomes its first plug-in hybrid.

The vehicle is fitted with a combustion engine of 4.0 liters that develops a power of 780 horses, although it also has three electric motors that reach a power of 220 horsepower. In total, the plug-in hybrid powertrain achieves 1.000 horses.

The new Prancing Horse signature model uses a eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and it also becomes the company's first car to incorporates all-wheel drive on all four wheels.

The SF90 Stradale offers the eDrive, Hybrid, Performance and Qualify driving modes and has technologies such as RAC-e electric shaft, traction control and a redesigned chassis to improve performance, despite the additional 270 kilogram weight gain needed to support the hybrid system.

According to Ferrari it is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 340 km/h, while it can go from 0 to 100 km / h in 2,5 seconds. The car's dry weight is 1.570 kilograms.
