In the 2018 edition of Villa d'Este Elegance Contest, in Italy, will be presented the latest creation of the program of unique models of Ferrari. This is the Ferrari SP38, which the brand's Design Center created on the basis of a 488 GTB.
From Maranello they affirm that it is a model that can be driven "Both on the road and on the track" and at the same time, "It expresses all the beauty and innovation of its vehicles."
The exclusive SP38, which is intended for a special customer "With a deep passion for racing", it is also equipped with el 8-liter V3.9 biturbo engine of the 488 GTB, although it is unknown if it was manipulated to have a power greater than 669 horsepower.
The headlights and daytime running lights are newly designed and located in a different position so that the lower part of the front bumper resembles that of a Ferrari 308 GTB.
The engine cover is a single piece of carbon fiber that covers the entire rear, dominated in the rear window by horizontal slats, in a clear tribute to the F40. From this sports car it also inherits the transverse openings and its discreet spoiler.
While the cabin was also customized according to the tastes of its owner, although Ferrari preferred not to disseminate images.
