Fiat Toro 2022: Five facts you need to know

Aesthetic modifications and a new turbo engine, the main novelties of the restyling of the compact pick-up produced in Brazil and which will soon arrive in Argentina.


Fiat presented for the Brazilian market the New Fiat Toro that soon will arrive in Argentina in the second semester. The restyling of the compact pick-up includes cosmetic changes, modifications to the interior, more technology and a new turbo engine. Here are five relevant data of the model.

Fiat Toro 20211- Has a more modern design, something that is mainly noticeable on the front. It sports a new grill with the brand's logo and the Fiat Flag. The renovation also includes a new hood, a new bumper and full LED lights. Chrome accents are included on the Ranch version.

2- The interior also has new features, both in the 100% digital instrument panel with TFT screen; as in the center console from where most of the vehicle's functions are controlled. Depending on the version, it can be 7, 8 or 10 inches (the latter in a vertical position).

Fiat Toro 20213- Now offer a wireless charger for smartphones and a complete platform of connected services. In Brazil thanks to an agreement with TIM Brasil, a leader in 4G coverage and with the largest Internet of Things (IoT) network in that country.

Fiat Toro 20214- Offer three types of engines. Incorporates the 1.3-horsepower 185-liter turbo engine of power and 269 Nm of torque coupled only to a six-speed automatic gearbox (this option will only be available for the 4 × 2 version). The 1.8-liter eTorQ 130 hp, although linked with the six-speed automatic transmission. While 2.0-horsepower 170-liter turbodiesel and 350 Nm of torque will be available for the 4 × 4 versions only with the nine-speed automatic gearbox.

5- Includes driving aids that place it at a prominent level even among the largest vehicles in the segment such as the autonomous emergency braking y lane change warning.
