Classic Recreations, the famous builder of custom classic cars, presented its latest creation: a Ford Mustang Mach 1 de 1969 nicknamed Hitman.
This project is the first Mach 1 produced as part of an exclusive license agreement with Ford Motor Company, which also includes other iconic Mustangs such as the Boss 429 y Boss 302.
Based on the bodywork of the 1 Mustang Mach 1969, the car underwent a thorough restoration, including a two-tone job (gray and black). In addition to this sheet metal and paint work, a splitter, a spoiler and a series of badges were added to the body.
After this rebuilding work, an engine was added that makes it a super car: the new Ford Coyote V8, 32-valve, twin-turbo, which offers 1.000 hp.
Like a true thoroughbred sports car, this hulking power must be mastered by a six-speed manual gearbox. At the same time, it presents a suspension system renewed, anti-roll bars, and a dual exhaust and mufflers MagnaFlow stainless steel.
For maximum traction, Classic Recreations placed Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires (the rear ones are wider) on a set of 18-inch tires.
With 1.000 hp, this muscle car counteracts the force through a set of perforated disc brakes with six-piston calipers. This braking system employs an adjustment valve, allowing settings to match intended use and riding style.
Other firsts from Hitman are the cross-flow radiator, air conditioning, and the JVC audio system connected to an amplifier, speakers, and subwoofer. It also has a aluminum steering wheel with wood, five-point seat belts, a speedometer with a maximum of 320 km/h and a safety cage.
