Formula 1 aims to have an audience at the Monaco Grand Prix

Stefano Domenicali, head of the category, expressed his optimism for the fifth round of the season.


The president and managing director of the F1, the Italian Stefano Domenicali, expressed confidence that the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, fifth date of the 2021 World Cup in the category, is witnessed by at least a small number of spectators.

"In the next GP of Portugal and Spain, unfortunately, there will be no people, while in Monte Carlo the first Grand Prix is ​​announced where a limited number of people should be admitted on Sunday", Domenicali stated.

In dialogue with Sky TG24, the holder of the F.1 recognized the optimism of the category to be able to have fans in the stands again after the restrictions imposed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

“This makes us hope with optimism looking forward because if the situation improves there will be a gradual reopening and the F.1 fans will be given the possibility to participate in the GPs. There is an incredible desire for an F1 that is also physical, not just television ”, Domenicali assured.

The Italian manager explained that the problem of the public in the F.1 "This year is more complex than last year, when nobody thought of being able to complete a season with 17 races." And I add: "It is more difficult because each country has different regulations, we move in control of the daily situation, which changes every hour."
