Mercedes and Aston Martin will supply the safety and medical cars that will be used this year.

For the first time in history, Formula 1 will have two safety cars and two medical cars of different brands. A Mercedes, which has accompanied the category since 1996, joins this year Aston Martin, who returns to the specialty with his own team after more than 60 years.

Mercedes safety carsThe German company had a Mercedes AMG GT R, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.6 seconds, to act as a safety car; while doctor car is a Mercedes C 63 S. Both will be painted red in tribute to their racing car Rote Sau.
