
For the first time in history, Formula 1 will have two safety cars and two medical cars of different brands. A Mercedes, which has accompanied the category since 1996, joins this year Aston Martin, who returns to the specialty with his own team after more than 60 years.
The German company had a Mercedes AMG GT R, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.6 seconds, to act as a safety car; while doctor car is a Mercedes C 63 S. Both will be painted red in tribute to their racing car Rote Sau.
In the case of the British brand, your safety car will be the Vantage that accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds; while the medical vehicle will be the DBX. Both with the characteristic green hue of the Gaydon house.
