Franco Morbidelli, new MotoGP winner

The Italian won the San Marino Grand Prix. His compatriot Andrea Dovizioso went on to lead the tournament.

El World Motorcycle Championship 2020 continues to add new winners. This time the one who celebrated was the Italian Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha), who won the Grand Prix of San Marino de MotoGP and thus he achieved his first victory in the highest category of the specialty.

It was a double for Italy since behind Morbidelli finished his compatriot Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati). The last step of the podium was for the Spanish Joan mir (Suzuki), who won the third position in the last lap from the Italian Valentino Rossi (Yamaha).

Meanwhile, that also peninsular Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) came to the fore of the contest after finishing seventh. The French Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), who dropped out, moved into second place in the tournament, six points behind Dovi.

In the promotional categories they celebrated the British John mcphee (Honda), in Moto3; and italian Luca marini (Kalex), in Moto2.

The next presentation of the World Cup will be again on the circuit Misano next weekend to play the Grand Prix of Roman Emilia and Rimini Riviera.
