In 2011 the British firm Lotus decided to honor Freddy Mercury, the singer of Queen, when commemorating the 65th anniversary of his birth at that time. He did it through a Evora S, the star models of its production.
The body was painted in a pearl white with small details in red and gold, a tone that was also inside, imitating the jacket that the singer had worn. This color also stands out in the two-tone upholstery of the seats decorated with a generous British flag on the back and the group's crest on the headrest.
The Lotus Evora S Freddie Mercury Edition was a unique model auctioned during the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the singer's birth. The proceeds went to the foundation Mercury Phoenix Trust, a charity founded posthumously by fellow group members Brian May y Roger Taylor.
