The second day of activity of the 2021 edition of the Monaco Grand Prix de F1, fifth date of the Maximum tournament, did not start well for the German Mick Schumacher, who suffered a spectacular accident in the final minutes of the third training session.

Mick SchumacherSchumacher had been fulfilling an acceptable performance - he reached the 14th place - but he lost control of his car at the entrance of a curve and went straight to the outer guard-rail, breaking a good part of his Haas. The incident led to a red flag that ended the session.

Now the US team will have to work hard to recover the car and condition it for qualifying, which will leave Argentina at 10.

The son of Michael Schumacher debuted this year in the F1 and in the previous races he had had an acceptable performance, beyond some rookie error. The 22-year-old German managed to complete the four previous races (the GP's of Bahrain, Emilia Romagna, Portugal and Spain) and accumulate 244 laps, seven less than the ideal total.
