Heavy investment from Honda to produce the Honda GLH150

The investment of US $ 5.000.000 is destined to start production of the new model and the local integration of parts.

Honda Motor of Argentina announced an investment of u $ s 5.000.000 at its plant in Campana, in the province of Buenos Aires, to start the production of a new motorcycle model: the Honda GLH150. This amount is added to the U $ S 15.000.000 that the company allocated, in the last two years, to its production lines and the parts location process.

Honda GLH150The Honda GLH150 stands out for the quality of its technology, injection engine, good acceleration and driving position. It is designed for loads of daily use, with greater comfort and ease of driving, and is ideal for moving in streets and small cities. It is, in short, an ideal mobility alternative for all those users who choose the motorcycle as a means of transport.

"The introduction of a new model of national production allows us to continue strengthening our product portfolio in all segments, according to the needs of customers and new users who find this vehicle an ideal mobility option, particularly in the context pandemic. This investment in the Campana plant is one more step in our commitment to local production ", he explains Victor Pruvost, Commercial manager. 

Honda GLH150As part of its commitment to achieve an increasingly strong local integration of parts, in addition to incorporating the location of parts in the GLH150, the company announced the chassis location of the models CB125F y Wave 110. Likewise, it will continue working to increase the export of parts and units to different markets.

Honda Motor de Argentina maintains its leadership in motorcycles: the company ended 2020 as the brand with the most patents, with an accumulated annual of 60.518 units, and with the most patented model in the country: the Honda Wave110S. Six models are currently produced at the Campana plant, representing 90% of the company's sales.
