Hyundai presented in society the Hyundai bayon, its new B-segment off-roader, which will be marketed with light hybrid combustion engines and that it will have the latest content on safety and driving assistance.
The arrival of the new Bayon is in line with the renewal strategy of the range being carried out by the Asian company, through which it has launched or improved seven models in the last twelve months.
This 4,18 meter long off-road vehicle features compact styling exterior design with main headlights divided into three parts, while at the rear there are arrow-shaped lights. The model will have alloy wheels of up to 17 inches.
In terms of technology, the new Bayon is offered with the Bluelink app of connected services, as well as with Lane Keeping Assist, Navigation-based Intelligent Cruise Control, High Beam Assist, Frontal Collision Avoidance Assist or Blind Spot Collision Warning, among others.
Hyundai's new model will be marketed with mechanical T-GDi that can be combined with the light hybridization technology of 48 volts and with intelligent manual transmission (iMT), which will significantly reduce fuel consumption.
The 1.0-liter T-GDi mechanics can have powers of 100 and 120 horsepower and can be associated with the six-speed iMT or the 7DCT seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while it will also be offered with a 1 MPi drivetrain..2 liters and 84 horses with five-speed manual gearbox.
