Hyundai has been the official car of WorldSBK and the official supplier of safety cars since 2019. In addition, it is a key partner of the championship by providing the race management vehicles and medical personnel to ensure the safety of everyone on the track.

Hyundai i30 Fastback N“As Hyundai's first 'fun to drive' model, the i30 N has participated in various sporting events; has completed the Nurburgring 24-hour races for five consecutive years and has competed in the WTCR, where he won the championship title in 2018 and 2019. That is why the Hyundai i30 N is the perfect car as an official WorldSBK Safety Car. ", he admitted at the time Till Warternberg, vice president of Hyundai Motor Company's N Brand Management & Motorsport subdivision.

Modification of the i30 Fastback N Safety Car has been carried out by the division Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing, which has been limited exclusively to those areas of its competence.

For example, the rear light bar is stylish and set far back to improve the aerodynamics of the Safety Car and provide better visibility for drivers behind.

Hyundai i30 Fastback NHR 19 inch alloy wheels in Active Red and Hyundai Blue show off Hyundai's heritage in the WRC. The tires Pirelli P Zero custom-made and Pagid brake pads ensure high performance on the track and optimum stopping power.

The Hyundai i30 Fastback N is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 276 horsepower and 392 Nm of torque that can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

DCT-equipped models come with modes N Green Shift, N Power Shift y N Track Sense Shift. Five different driving modes are also offered, including the N Custom that optimizes the engine, suspension, electronic limited-slip differential, active variable exhaust, steering and transmission.
