
Jeep presented its new full-size SUV with three rows of seats: the Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep grand wagoneer, the models with which the brand wants to compete in a segment of great importance in the North American market.
Located above the Grand Cherokee, the Wagoneer and the Grand Wagoneer share a platform with the RAM 1500 and they stand out for offering a design that reflects modernity and luxury. The same happens inside, which in addition to offering ample space caused by the large size of the body.
JEEP WAGONEER IN DETAIL
The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer stands out for its rugged styling, good ground clearance, and a high hood. In the United States it will compete against Chevrolet Tahoe, the Ford expedition and Toyota Sequoia, among others. Inside, it stands out for its ample space for seven occupants and its elegant leather upholstery.
It has the well-known 8 L HEMI V5.7 engine, but associated with mild-hybrid technology to deliver 392 CV and 548 Nm of torque. In addition, it works together with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
Adaptive air suspension, two-speed transfer case four-wheel drive system and electronic limited-slip differential are optional.
JEEP GRAN WAGONEER IN DETAIL
The Grand Wagoneer presents the same lines of the Wagoneer, although it is distinguished by having more metallic decorations, a more robust front bumper and tires up to 22 ”and with an exclusive design. He pretends to fight as equals with Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Mercedes-Benz GLS y BMW X7, Among others.
Inside it provides more space and a higher level of luxury and equipment through genuine wood finishes and larger screens (12.3 ”instrument panel, 12” touch screen for the multimedia system and 10.3 ”screen exclusively for the passenger).
It is also distinguished by its individual seats in the second row, complemented by a pair of front seatback displays and a 19-speaker McIntosh hi-fi audio system.
This model will use the 8L V6.4 to deliver 471PS and 617 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an automatic transmission. Standard offers air suspension, four-wheel drive system with two-speed transfer case and electronic limited-slip differential.
These models will begin to be sold in the United States within the next three months. The Jeep Wagoneer will have a starting price of U.S. dollar 60.000 and the Grand Wagoneer of U.S. dollar 90.000.
