English Lewis Hamilton, seven times champion of the F1, and the American actor Brad Pitt have just come together in a common project, a movie whose name is still unknown, but which promises to be one of the great titles of next year.
Rumors indicate that it will be a film about Formula 1, the category in which the 36-year-old Hamilton excels. The film will be directed by Joseph Kosinski, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and mentored by Hamilton and Brad Pitt.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film captured the attention of several top movie studios, seeing a potential box office success starring the multiple F.1 champion and the 57-year-old Oscar-winning star.
The list of studios interested in the film includes Paramount, MGM, Sony, Universal, Netflix, Amazon, Apple y Disney. This is because car movies are often a box office hit in America.
It will be the second time that Brad Pitt embarks on a motorsport adventure for the big screen, after being behind the unsuccessful Go Like Hell, together with Tom Cruise.
For Hamilton, meanwhile, it will be his second approach to the big screen after being a producer of The Game Changers, a film about veganism, nutrition and physical care that questions the need for meat in the diet.
