Lewis Hamilton and his tribute to Ayrton Senna

English Lewis Hamilton, of the team Mercedes de F1, decided to wear a helmet that pays tribute to his idol for this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix Ayrton Senna.

An image of the emblematic stands out on the helmet of the current champion Christ the Redeemer of Rio de Janeiro and another of the Brazilian flag, inside which is written "Still I Rise" (Still I Rise).

Lewis HamiltonThe phrase has become an emblem for Hamilton, who has those three words tattooed on his back, along with a large cross and wings that reach the pilot's lumbar.

It is not the first time that the Mercedes is inspired by the figure of the Brazilian to decorate his helmet and rekindle the memory of the three-time world champion (1988, 1990 and 1991), who died in 1994 at the Imola circuit (Italy).
