Manuel Andujar won in the Rally of Morocco

The winner of the Dakar 2021 had an outstanding job in the quadricycles category.

With the aim of defending next year the title of champion of the Dakar 2021 in the quad category, Manuel Andujar decided to participate this year in different international competitions. One of them was the Morocco Rally, where he again demonstrated his quality by winning his class and finishing 12 ° in the category Rally 2, intended for amateur pilots and without factory support.

After winning in the Saudi sands, Andujar continued his winning streak in the Rally Kazakhstan and Sertões International Rally from Brazil. The one of Lobos only missed the Silk way rally, but with his two victories he arrives well positioned to define the scepter in his favor in the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge (November 6 to 12).

En Rally GP, for elite motorcyclists, the Salta brothers Luciano y Kevin Benavides they arrived in the Top 10. Luciano, with a Husqvarna officer, finished sixth; while Kevin, the defending Dakarian champion, finished seventh with his KTM of fabric. The mendocino Franco Caimi (Hero) was unlucky: he dropped out when he was averaging the test.

The competition was left in the hands of the Chilean Pablo Quintanilla (Sling); while the Austrian Matthias walkner (KTM) secured the title early after finishing second. While in Rally 2, where the American won Mason Klein (KTM), the cuyano Diego Noras (Husqvarna) finished 17th.

While in cars two other men from Mendoza stood out: Lucio alvarez (Toyota) finished third; while Sebastian Halpern (MINI buggy) arrived fifth. In addition, his countryman Juan Cruz Yacopini (Toyota) finished XNUMXth. The triumph, meanwhile, was in the hands of the Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota).
