The one from Cervera went to the gravel in the curve 7 of the Andalusian track in his first crash since his return to the World Cup after recovering from his right arm injury that caused him, nine months ago, another accident precisely on this same circuit.
Márquez hit the protections and the motorcycle was visibly affected, but he was able to leave on his own foot, somewhat dazed, to undergo a medical examination at the circuit hospital. "After his medical checkup, Marc Márquez has no major injuries, suffering only a concussion"his team confirmed.
“To check his condition after the fall of turn 7, Marc went to the hospital to do more checks. These were as a precaution, he does not feel any pain or discomfort ”, the team warned.
