The dutch Max Verstappen (Red Bull) dominated with authority the first free practice session of the Grand Prix of Great Britain, which has a special format that includes the definition of the starting grid through a 100 kilometer sprint race.

The arrival of the championship to Silverstone, the House of Lewis Hamilton and a traditionally car-friendly circuit Mercedes, it presaged an improvement of the German team, but for the moment Verstappen continues without giving option.

Fourth stood the Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) ahead of Finn Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes). The sixth place went to the Spanish Carlos Sainz, demonstrating the good start of the weekend for the Scuderia.
