McLaren Special Operations (MSO), McLaren's customization division, introduced a new special version of the 570GT inspired by the historic 1 F1997 XP GT Longtail.
With a limited production of only six units, this 570GT stands out for having a body painted in “XP Green” with details in shades of orange and black on the bumpers, side skirts, front spoiler and the rear diffuser.
Inside, the seats are trimmed in bronze-tone leather with green contrast stitching. It also has a 570GT special series nameplate affixed to the bottom of the infotainment system display.
This sports car is equipped with the 8-liter V3.8 biturbo engine capable of developing 570 horsepower, a seven-brand gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The brand claims that it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,4 seconds, from 0 to 200 km / h in 9,8 seconds and that its maximum speed is 328 km / h.
The McLaren F1 XP GT Longtail was designed to achieve the approval of the International Automobile Federation necessary for it to be used in competitions. The model was an optimized version of the F1, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995.
Each unit of this special edition 570GT will have an estimated price of 212.000 euros and McLaren reserves them for potential buyers from the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
