La Association of Automotive Dealers of the Argentine Republic (ACARA) released the results of a monthly survey on the expectations of the short and medium term of the activity.
The survey results correspond to responses from 134 companies of the entire value chain of the sector. Regarding the economic situation of the country for the next three months, the 50% of respondents indicated that they expect stability, 27% that it will be worse than today and 23% that will improve.
By extending the question deadline towards the end of 2021, the 56% of respondents expect it to improve, 22% that will be the same and 23% it will get worse.
Regarding the particular situation of each company surveyed, the result is relatively polarized: the 47% responded that November was a better month than they expected and 37% stated that it was worse than expected. To the remaining 16% it was in line with their expectations.
In correspondence with the long-term expectations for the general situation of the country, the 66% of those surveyed answered that they expect to be better than today by the end of 2021, the 22% stated that he hopes to be the same and the 12% He said he anticipates being worse.
