Mercedes-AMG GT Concept, the vehicle of the future

This year Mercedes-AMG celebrates its 50th anniversary and in addition to honoring its past and celebrating its successful present, it is also looking to the future. A clear example is the Mercedes-AMG GT Concept, which advances the lines of its next four-door and uses a new hybrid technology called EQ Power + that is also used in Formula 1.

The AMG GT Concept is recognizable at first glance as a genuine AMG GT. The exterior design is distinguished by its extremely muscular proportions, its large volume and, simultaneously, the reduced style of the surface. It undoubtedly represents the Sensual Purity design philosophy and brings you the added performance feature of AMG.

The Panamerican grille with red painted vertical ribs on the sides, the new extremely slim headlamp configuration and the side gills are AMG GT design features that have advanced to a new level here and express pure power.

The hood, which reaches down to the wheel arches, highlights the genes of the sports car. This is also expressed in the extravagant hot red paint with a finish that glows in the light like liquid metal.

The powertrain of the AMG GT concept represents a completely new development. With the SLS AMG electric unit in 2010, Mercedes-AMG proved that a sports car with a battery-electric drive system can be realized, obtaining astonishing performance and maximum driving pleasure.

The AMG GT Concept is equipped with extremely powerful, yet lightweight batteries and an impressive electrical range with the possibility of generating an output system of up to 600 kW. Its acceleration is impressive: from 0 to 100 km / h in three seconds, which corresponds to its super sports car level.
