MG to conquer Europe with two electric vehicles

British car manufacturer MG, which since 2007 is owned by the Chinese group SAIC, will launch two new electric models this year in Europe that will feature more than 400 kilometers of zero emission range on a single charge.

Specifically, MG will launch the new MG Marvel R Electric, a luxurious and technological SUV in the C segment; while the new MG5 Electric It will arrive on the Old Continent in October as its first 100% electric family.

In this sense, the CEO of MG in Europe, Matt lei, has indicated that when the brand was launched on the continent, the objective was to make electric mobility accessible to drivers, so these new vehicles will allow us to continue with this goal.

The Marvel R Electric will have a length of 4,67 meters, a width of 1,91 meters and a height of 1,61 meters, while its wheelbase will be 2,80 meters. Among its interior features, it will have a 19,4-inch touch screen and a 12,3-inch digital instrument panel.

Its electric motor will provide you with a power close to 285 horses, with a range of 400 kilometers. The vehicle will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4,9 seconds.

For its part, the MG5 Electric stands out for its 578 liter trunk, which can reach 1.456 liters with the rear seats folded down. Its length will be 4,54 meters, while its width and height will be 1,81 and 1,51 meters, respectively.

Like the Marvel R, the model has 400 kilometers of autonomy, although it has a 184 horsepower engine.
