The Portuguese Miguel Oliveira (KTM) won the Catalan Grand Prix de a MotoGP, seventh date of Motorcycle World Championship that was carried out in the circuit Montmeló, ahead of French Johann zarco (Ducati).
The Australian Jack Miller (Ducati) completed the podium of the premier class of the two wheels thanks to a penalty to the French Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), who had finished third, but was reclassified sixth after a double penalty for cutting the circuit and not wearing his diver properly fastened and without the protective vest.
Second in the World Cup standings, Zarco is now 14 points behind Quartararo in this unprecedented French duel for the championship lead.
