The Spanish Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati) scored its second victory in the 2018 season of the MotoGP by imposing authority in the Catalan Grand Prix which was played in the Barcelona town of Montmeló.
The podium was completed by his compatriot Marc Márquez (Honda), with whom Lorenzo will share the Golden Wing team from the next contest, and the Italian Valentino Rossi (Yamaha).
Lorenzo starred in an impeccable career and finished with almost four and a half seconds ahead of Márquez, who with second place increases his lead in the tournament with 27 points over Rossi.
It was a bumpy race and only half of the grid managed to finish it. Among the retreats was that of the Italian Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati), runner-up last year in the queen class of the Motorcycle World Championship.
En Moto2, the French Fabio Quartararo (Speed Up) won smoothly over the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira (KTM) and the Spanish Alex Márquez (Kalex). Meanwhile in Moto3 The Italian Enea Bastianini (Honda) won. The next tournament date will be Dutch GP of 1 of July.
