Lauda, ​​a circuit legend in the 1970s and 1980s, narrowly escaped death in 1976 when he was involved in an accident during the German Grand Prix. His car caught fire after a runway exit.

It marked the history of his discipline, which he chose against the will of his wealthy father, being meticulous in his preparation and determined at the wheel.

Also passionate about aviation, in 1979 he founded his airline, Lauda Air, which was sold to Austrian Airlines in 2002.
