The awesome Nissan GT-R NISMO already has a version available to children that is the product of the collaboration between the Danish toy company LEGO and the Japanese manufacturer Nissan.
The LEGO Speed Champions - Nissan GT-R NISMO, which will be available worldwide in January 2020, is one of the first themed kits in this collection and will be 25% larger than those of previous years.
The GT-R NISMO model, made with 298 LEGO elements, captures the authentic and intricate details of the life-size race car in a relatively small model.
This was undoubtedly an interesting challenge for the LEGO design leader, Chris Stamp. “Authenticity is always our main concern and we spend a lot of time exploring different techniques to correctly recreate the taillights, as they are one of the many recognizable details on the car. I am very happy with the result!", Assured.
The little toy vehicle had the OK from Hiroshi tamura, Nissan's specialist product manager for the GT-R. “The GT-R has been a part of my life since I was ten years old. Working with the LEGO Group was like waking up the 10-year-old in me and rediscovering what makes the GT-R so special to me. It's amazing how the attention to detail of the LEGO Group staff reminds me of that of our own artisans. "explained the expert.
