El Nissan kicks revolutionized the crossover segment thanks to a series of technologies based on the Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM), the brand's vision to provide more autonomy, electrification and connectivity.
The Kicks has sold around 58.000 units in Latin America, registered until the end of fiscal year 2017 (March 2018), and a year ago production began at the Resende plant (Brazil), from where it is exported to supply the Argentine market.
The objective of NIM technologies is to guarantee greater safety and comfort during operation. With the Intelligent Around View Monitor (I-AVM), for example, four cameras positioned at both ends of the vehicle, as well as on both exterior mirrors, provide a panoramic view of the surroundings of the car. This feature, exclusive to Kicks in its segment, is integrated into the Moving Object Detection (Detector of Moving Objects).
Other systems that stand out to the crossover are the function Intelligent Trace Control, which identifies the outline of the curve to determine the individual braking force on the tires; the Intelligent Ride Control, to soften the force of the brakes in the event of a bump or unevenness; and the Intelligent Engine Brake, which monitors the road condition and automatically introduces a braking element that helps gradually slow down the vehicle.
Furthermore, the Multifunctional Panel with 12 displays and the integrated navigation system accompany the user during their journey, from the moment they board and start the vehicle with the Nissan intelligent key to begin your journey, until the vehicle is parked and stopped.
