New Amarok: The news


FRONT: Among the exterior design details of the new Amarok, it is worth highlighting its new bumper with a double-line chrome upper grille, lower grille in a “honeycomb” design, bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights and right-angle fog lamps with Static cornering light. There is also a new underbody protector, which in addition to showing greater strength and height to the vehicle, protects the engine.

TIRES: Launched with three 16 ”steel designs for the Trendline version and 17” and 18 ”alloy for the Comfortline and Highline versions.

INTERIOR: The driving position is new with a center console and all the elements designed according to the driver. It applies all the rules of ergonomics for a more comfortable driving: the multifunction steering wheel with paddles, the center console, the touch screen of the new infotainment system and the various controls for the air conditioning system, among others.

Equipment: ErgoComfort 14-position electrically adjustable front seats for driver and front passenger, directional reading lights for driver and passenger, electric window lifters with “one touch” and timer, mirrors with electric command and defroster, electric adjustment and lowering in exterior mirror, control of cruising speed, the new tire pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensor, backup camera, coming & leaving home package, photochromic interior mirror and rain sensor, among others.

DISCOVER MEDIA: Includes a 6.33 ”touch screen with approach sensors, GPS navigator, CD reader compatible with .mp3 and .wma formats, SD card reader, auxiliary socket, USB port and i-Pod and Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones ( in Highline version). It offers App Connect, a technology that allows different functions of smartphones to be reflected on the screen of the multimedia center, making it possible to control the cell phone from the car screen and vice versa.

VERSIONS: It comes in three trim levels (Trendline, Comfortline and Highline) powered by the well-known 2.0 or 140 hp 180 TDI engine, in single and double cab version configurations, single and double traction and 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic .

COLORS: It is available in Reflex Silver, Candy White, Starlight Blue, Deep Black, Tornado Red and two new colors, Mojave Beige and Indium Gray.
