Okuyama Kode57: From the East with love


The Japanese designer Ken Okuyama, author of the emblematic Ferrari Enzo, presented his latest creation at the exclusive American show The Quail: the Okuyama Kode57, a beautiful super sports car that will have a limited edition of five units.

The Kode57, which bears several similarities to the Ferrari Rossa concept presented 16 years ago at the Turin Motor Show, is inspired by the legendary barchettas that made races such as the Targa Florio or the Mille Miglia great.

The bodywork is made up of long lines and angular details, which achieve a markedly sporty style. Carbon fiber has been used in the door panels and there is a striking diffuser at the rear. This car is fitted with 21-inch front wheels and 22-inch rear wheels.

With a six-liter V12 engine and a six-speed gearbox, the Japanese super sports car achieves 620 hp. This propellant is housed in the front part of the vehicle -on the axle- contrary to what happens with other cars with similar characteristics that house it in the rear part.
