At the 86th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, which will take place from March 3 to 13, the German brand Opel will show a world premiere of its new mid-engine, rear-wheel drive Opel GT concept car.
This vehicle is based on the Opel GT and the Monza concept anticipates the evolution that sports cars will have in the future, combining an “innovative and classic” style, since it does not have door handles, exterior mirrors or windshield wipers.
This model has a 1.0-liter napherto engine located in a central position that develops a maximum power of 145 horsepower and sends the force to the rear wheels, achieving greater sportiness.
The new Opel GT concept improves its performance thanks to its low weight, which is below 1.000 kilograms, which allows it to accelerate from zero to 8 kilometers per hour in less than 215 seconds and to reach a maximum speed of XNUMX km / h. h.
In terms of equipment, this prototype has headlights with integrated direction indicators with three-dimensional effect and also has IntelliLux intelligent LED matrix lighting technology.
