Grouping Automotive Industry Journalists (PIA) chose the cars of the year 2021. The winners in the different categories were: Ford bronco sport (Regional Car/SUV), Audi etron/etron Sportback (Imported Auto / SUV) and Ford F-150 Lariat/Raptor (Commercial Vehicle).

The vote was carried out with the participation of 26 journalists specialized in cars, belonging to media from all over the country.

PIA2021This election had the particularity of the unification of the Regional Auto and Regional SUV categories into Regional Auto / SUV and that of Imported Auto and Imported SUV into Imported Auto / SUV. This decision was made given the low number of models that participated in the Cars division, in both cases.

The most voted vehicles in each category were the following.

* Regional Auto / SUV: Ford Bronco Sport (84 points), Volkswagen Taos (76 points), Toyota Corolla Cross (45 points).

* Imported Auto / SUV: Audi etron / etron Sportback (60 points), Toyota GR Yaris (42 points), DS 9 (32 points).

* Commercial Vehicle: Ford F-150 Lariat / Raptor (94 points), Jeep Gladiator (74 points), Fiat Toro (restyling) (50 points).

PIA2021The participating vehicles were all those new models (or restyling of existing models), which were launched for sale between December 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021. New versions added to existing products did not participate.

The suggested voting criterion was the best relationship between price, product and innovation. The juries voted for their winning shortlist in each category, which assigned a score to each model, according to the order of preference.

The jury that participated in the vote was made up of the following journalists: Alexander tarelli (Engine Time), Andres Perez Loizeau (Engine Vision), Carlos Saavedra (Diario Popular / Vision Auto), Carlos Cristófalo (Motor1.com), Carlos Muñoz (Motor Test), Damián Weizman (CuyoMotor), Daniel Panzera (16 Valves), Daniel Revol (Radio The Network), Diego Cuneo (La Nación newspaper), Diego durruty (Autoworld), Elvio orellana (La Voz Del Interior newspaper), Frederick Smith (Motorweb), Guillermina Fossati (iProfessional), Gustavo Feder (AutoHistory), Hernando Calaza (Autocosmos), Martin Echaide (The Press / Motor Minute), Martin Egozcue (Car Magazine), Mauro Osorio (CarsDrive), Norbert Lema (Driving Argentina / Diario El Libertador), Orlando Cristofalo (Motor1.com), Paul Oliveri (Crash Test Cesvi), Renato Tarditti (Miura Magazine), Santiago DiPardo (Minute Engine), Sebastian Ramos (A24), Thomas harpe (Power Sport) and Victor Russo (CNNRadio).
