As part of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, Renault presented its new Clio RS 16 sports prototype, which incorporates an engine that develops a maximum power of 275 horsepower.
This model developed by Renault Sport aims to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this sports division and also the return of the diamond company to the F.1 with its own team. The car's first public appearance will take place in June at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (UK).
The Clio RS 16 incorporates the same 2.0-liter, 275-horsepower gasoline engine as the Mégane RS 245 Trophy-R, as well as the same gearbox and engine cooling system.
This car has, in turn, an Akrapovic dual exhaust silencer and has undergone a 60-millimeter widening of the bodywork. In addition, it mounts 16-inch wheels, a checkerboard-shaped RS Vision LED light signature and also the Sirius yellow color.
